Say Today we are going to read a story about these children. They are having their English class at school.

Divide the board into several sections. Ask some pupils how they come to school. Write each new response in a new section, e.g. by bus, on foot, and invite the pupils to stand in front of the section. Repeat the above step until there are at least two pupils in each group.
Point out each group, explaining that the pupils are in a group because they come to school the same way. Explain to pupils that a group has two people or more. Ask Can a group have only one person? (No.)
