Following changes set out by the Department for Education in the UK, we have updated our A level Chinese (9CN0) and Japanese (9JN0), for first teaching from September 2024 (first assessment summer 2026). These amendments have been approved by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation in the UK).

根据英国教育部2023年10月发布的对A Level课程内容的更新，培生爱德思对A Level 中文（9CN0）和日语（9JN0）科目进行了相应调整，并已获得英国资格及考试管理办公室（The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation in the UK，简称Ofqual）批准。调整后的A Level 中文（9CN0）和日语（9JN0）科目将于2024年9月开展首次教学，2026年5/6月进行首场考试。

As a summary, the main changes are:

• Questions and responses to comprehension (listening and reading) tasks now appear in English instead of the target language (Chinese or Japanese), unless writing skills are also intentionally being assessed.

除了写作能力的考评部分，试卷中综合理解测试部分（听力和阅读）的提问和回答将以英文方式呈现，代替目标考试语言（中文或日语）。

• Questions about the literary works and films now appear in both the target language and English. Students will still be required to respond in the target language to these questions.
